Green Mountain Boys 1777 or GMB77 is Vermont Grow Coaching’s flagship cultivar. At VTGC, we pride ourselves in breeding easy to grow, medicinal plants. GMB77 ticks those boxes, like a champ! GMB77 contains a well rounded cannabinoid profile, as well as a distinct terpene profile.
The name of this cultivar, stems from it’s roots. The father of this cultivar is a cross between a skunk from Mendocino California and a cheese cultivar, direct from Amsterdam. The father was originally bred in Addison County Vermont and was backcrossed for stabilization, after selecting the best phenotype. The mother came as a gift from the Adirondack Mountains, a fruity short flowering sativa cultivar.
1777 was a big year for the Green Mountain Boys and their Vermont militia. Both the breeding site and the location where the mother was obtained, are both within only 30 minutes of several battles that happened between the states of Vermont and New York at that time. GMB77 was the obvious name choice for this cultivar.
With an indoor flowering time of under 10 weeks and only a couple distinct phenotypes, you are sure to find some true winners with this pack. The skunk and deep cheese notes are distinct, with just a slight sweetness to the smoke. Under normal indoor temperatures, you can expect GMB77 to finish green, with orange hairs. Dropping your temps in flower? Expect some amazing colors!
